 Prospect Park Makes Deals with Two ‘All My Children’ Stars: Late last week, on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” an excited Cameron Mathison (Ryan) announced that the production company that licensed “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” from ABC this summer, Prospect Park, had started to contact actors from his show to negotiate.A multijurisdictional investigation has led to the arrest of a Prospect Park man in connection with a string of armed robberies earlier this year.Michael R. Donohue, 24, is charged in connection with three armed heists in Ridley Township and two in Glenolden Borough dating to April 19. In four of the robberies, Donohue used a gun; during the other he used a knife, police said.
“We had an idea it was him. We’d been watching him for about a month,” said Ridley Township Police Lt. Scott Willoughby, crediting Upper Darby Detective Michael Pecko, Glenolden Detective Sgt. Jay Kelly and Ridley Detective William J. Henderson Jr. for their tenacious investigative work and cooperation that led to Donohue’s arrest.Pecko cracked the case last weekend when, during an unrelated investigation, he received information that Donohue was involved in the five robberies in the other municipalities.“When Upper Darby arrested him the other night for possession and paraphernalia, Detective Pecko contacted us and we went over there and got a taped confession,” Willoughby said.A consolidated criminal complaint was obtained for all five robberies in Ridley District Court, at the direction of the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Donohue robbed the Swiss Farms on Kedron Avenue in Folsom around 8:45 p.m. on April 19. He allegedly entered the store, pointed a black handgun at an employee and stated, “I’m not here to hurt you,” the affidavit states. He had the employee put about $350 from the register in a bag, then fled.
